Who we are
Before nightfall at just about any camp, when it was time to build a fire, a counselor would call out for kindling. Some kids would duck out, drift toward flashier tasks, or giggle their way into the background. Usually, just one or two would step up. Depending on how you look at it, they were either model humans, suckers, wanted to spend some time alone… or part of a small few who understood the major glory of a minor craft.
It’s solitary work—bending low, gathering small, dried out sticks, leaves and bark that don’t look like much on their own. But it’s this slice of labor that incites the fire where dinner is cooked and the stories are told.
Kindling is a company that knows: with a little, you can change a lot.
